DESCRIPTION:Chamrousse en Piste is a must-see performing arts festival of the summer season in the Belledonne massif\, designed for the whole family. \nThe concept: A true festival of street arts\, magic\, theater\, and contemporary circus\, entirely relocated to the mountains. The mountain resort transforms into an open-air stage to offer an eclectic\, poetic\, and often humorous program.  \nThe atmosphere: Friendly\, immersive\, and completely free\, this event allows vacationers and locals to combine the great mountain air with culture. The shows take place in the heart of the resort (Chamrousse 1750 – Roche Béranger)\, facing the panoramas of the Alps.  \nPractical tip: As the performances take place outdoors at an altitude of 1\,750 m\, it is highly recommended to bring sunscreen\, a hat\, and water for the afternoons\, as well as a light sweater for the evenings.

SUMMARY:Thyon Dixence Race
DESCRIPTION:The Thyon-Dixence Race is one of the oldest\, most prestigious and popular mountain races in Europe. Created in 1982\, it traditionally serves as a major preparation event (and dress rehearsal) for the legendary Sierre-Zinal race which takes place the following weekend.  \nThe unique course: A distance of 16.35 km with 700 m of positive elevation gain (D+) and 475 m of negative elevation (D-). The route is a magnificent high-altitude balcony (always ranging between 2\,000 m and 2\,400 m altitude)\, offering breathtaking views of the Valais Alps.  \nThe spectacular finish: The race connects the Thyon-Les Collons resort to the majestic Grande Dixence Dam (the highest gravity dam in the world). The finish line is directly at the top of the dam’s crest\, after an impressive final steep climb.  \nFor everyone: In addition to elite runners (who complete the course in just over an hour) and recreational runners\, the event welcomes walkers (who start earlier in the morning) as well as children with the Mini Thyon-Dixence.

SUMMARY:Sierre-Zinal
DESCRIPTION:Nicknamed “the doyenne” or “the Mecca” of mountain running\, Sierre-Zinal is a legendary race created in 1974 in the heart of the Valais Alps in Switzerland. It is part of the prestigious international Golden Trail World Series circuit.  \nThe legendary course: A distance of $31\text{ km}$ with $2\ 200\text{ m}$ of positive elevation gain ($D+$) and $1\ 100\text{ m}$ of negative elevation loss ($D-$). The route links the town of Sierre (in the Rhône plain) to the village of Zinal (in the Val d’Anniviers).  \nThe “Five 4000” scenery: The race owes its worldwide renown to its balcony route offering breathtaking views of five of the Alps’ highest peaks\, all over 4\,000 metres: the Dent Blanche\, the Obergabelhorn\, the Zinalrothorn\, the Weisshorn and the famous Matterhorn. \nA clash of worlds: It is one of the few races in the world where the best road marathoners (African runners often excel here thanks to the fast middle section)\, trail runners and pure mountain-running specialists go head-to-head. \nA popular celebration: Alongside the Elites\, the “Tourists” category (walkers and recreational runners) sets off from the middle of the night by headlamp to enjoy the experience at their own pace\, cheered on by incredible local enthusiasm all along the route.
