Trail EDF Val Cenis
The Trail EDF Val Cenis (formerly known as the Trail de la Haute Maurienne) is a legendary nature race that brings together thousands of runners every year in the heart of the Vanoise National Park.
The concept: A pure Alpine trail event offering technical, wild, and spectacular routes, winding between summits, high-altitude lakes (such as the magnificent Mont-Cenis lake), and historic forts.
The events: There is something for everyone, from elite runners to walkers and children: Long distances: The Black Trail (82 km / 4,700 m D+) and the Red Trail (42 km / 2,600 m D+). Short distances: The Blue Trail (23 km), the Green Trail (12 km), and a power walk. Activities: The Kinder Trail for children and the traditional Savoyard meal at the finish line.
Eco-responsible commitment: In partnership with EDF, the event makes it a priority to preserve the exceptional environment it crosses (waste management, clean marking, biodiversity awareness).
