Riding Fantasticable Châtel is like nothing else. You are securely harnessed in a horizontal position, so it really feels like you are flying! When the cord is released, the zipline carries you across the stunning Abondance Valley, with unbelievable views of the alpine landscape. You don’t need any prior experience or special skills to go on the Fantasticable Zipline. It is suitable for most people, however, it has a minimum weight requirement of about 35kg (77 lbs) and a maximum weight limit of 120kg (264 lbs). This makes it accessible for children, teens, and adults, perfect for families and groups of friends to enjoy together!
You can also do a duo flight on Fantasticable, where two participants can zipline together. The requirements are a minimum of 35kg for the lighter participant, with a combined weight of up to 150kg, and a maximum weight difference of 40kg between the two riders. Make sure to specify this option when booking.
Your safety is a top priority at Fantasticable Châtel and therefore the setup includes a double harness system that ensures you’re securely fastened. They regularly inspect the equipment and maintain it so that it meets high safety standards. Before you head down the zipline, trained staff will brief you on all the safety measures, making sure that you’re fully prepared for the ride.

As of 2024, a single ride on Fantasticable Châtel costs €42 per person, or €84 for a duo ride during the summer season. This is the standard price for individual tickets, but there are often opportunities to save. You are offered a 10% discount if you have a Multi Pass or a valid Portes du Soleil mountain bike pass, additionally, group discounts are available for larger parties. We highly recommend that you book early, especially in the high season as rides often sell out.
Hours of operation & location
You can access Fantasticable via two routes. First, you can take the Pierre-Longue and Rochassons chairlifts, but note that the last ascent on the Pierre-Longue chairlift is at 3:45 p.m. On Fridays, when there are night openings, the last ascent is extended until 5:45 p.m.
Alternatively, you can drive to Plaine Dranse and take the Rochassons chairlift. For Thursday night openings, from 3:45 p.m. onward, access is only available from Plaine Dranse, with the last ascent at 6:15 p.m. There is parking available on site.
Experience fantasticable Châtel in winter
While Fantasticable primarily runs during the summer season, from June to September, it does reopen from December until April daily for you to enjoy flying over a winter wonderland. Rates are reduced during the winter season as single rides cost €30 per person, while duo rides are €60 per person. Prices include the ascent by Pierre Longue and Rochassons chairlifts.
